Welcome to our events 

To raise money for our different projects we work towards both private persons and companies.

2008:

During 2008 we proudly cooperated with the Swedish Embassy at the Swedish National Day raising money for our projets. 

We organized a fun and successful Family Fun Day at the poolside of Dynasty Garden, Beijing.

When the Swedish Chamber of Commerce celebrated their 10th anniversary, Change for Life was chosen as a partner. Money was raised for a much needed project to build washing facilities and bathroom at the 'Xunhua Special School'.

Moreover, Christmas decorations were sold at the Swedish School and at WAB.

2009:

In Spring 2009, we had another Charity Family Fun Day at Dynasty Garden, Beijing, which was very successful. 

The Beijing Snapshots Photoexhibition was held at River Garden Clubhouse, Beijing, in November and many beautiful pieces of Art was sold in favour for the Qinghai children.

During the last months of 2009 Change for Life participated in the bazaars at the Swedish School, Dulwich International School, Embassy House and Western Acadey of Beijing to sell various products. All the proceeds of these events go as always directly towards our charity projects.

Snapshots for Better: Photography by Helena Jeppsson

During November 6-8 2009 a photoexhibition was arranged at River Garden Clubhouse in Beijing to raise support for hearing impaired children of the Qinghai province. All pieces were for sale.

The Swedish photographer Helena Jeppsson has since she arrived in Beijing the summer 2008 lived together with her camera in a world of snapshots. In the show Beijing Snapshots her black and white pictures were filled with details and experiences you all recognise.

“I have focused on the atmosphere and light of small moments in Beijing. After a while I could not help catching the huge contrasts of living in Beijing daily life,”says Helena Jeppsson about her first solo show in China.
